TALISMAN checks your allocations for availability, no more looking for files which may not necessarily be up to date. Any item which is not on allocation may be requested.

The time taken for tasks such as locating bookings for documentation, typing out confirmations, invoices, remittance advice's, standard letters and travel vouchers etc. now can be better used, since TALISMAN does all this in seconds, at the time of booking or when you ask for the documentation to be printed. This documentation can be integrated with your Microsoft Office products if necessary.

If required, connections to a CRS such as Galileo is available. This allows the user to have access to TALISMAN’s stored information, and to the CRS to give a very powerful information and Reservation tool. P.N.R.'s in the CRS can be transferred directly into TALISMAN to become part of the client's booking.

TALISMAN’s communication system allows the connection of a multi user telex and fax system. Every terminal will telex or fax your hoteliers, agents or clients, as the bookings are done, or at the end of each day.

Each user can switch from Viewdata to Galileo to Talisman, and use central printers to print out view data pages, invoices and itineraries.

React quickly to your business house clients travel needs, and produce an invoice, itinerary and ticket seconds after the booking has been made in Galileo.

Using the unlimited notes facility, and client history, you can build a comprehensive client profile for each of your clients.

Talisman will print receipts, invoices and itineraries with complete booking information, passenger requests, unlimited additional extras, amount paid and amount still due.

Use the diary and a selection of reports to view balances due, send out reminders, and pay deposits and balances to suppliers.

After the client has traveled, the marketing system allows you to analyze your bookings by any criteria in their travel file, and send a personalized mailing letter to any selected group of clients through Talisman or Microsoft Office.

In fact, TALISMAN gives you total control of your bookings.

A banking report lists all transactions completed in the business for any specified period. This includes all monies collected, payments made, invoices/credit notes raised.

Money due to a particular supplier for a single booking or a group of bookings will be collated on a payment to suppliers report. Remittance advice's may also be printed to send to a supplier with a cheque.

Ticket stocks held in TALISMAN can be any accountable item such as airline tickets, insurance policies etc. A report is raised listing sales of appropriate items.

The accounting system is a totally integrated Nominal, Sales and Purchase ledger and will work as a stand alone Back office system as well as integrating the Front office System's information.

Complete facilities are available for Sales Ledger accounting to produce agents statements, Aged debtors reports etc.

The Purchase Ledger has payment facilities for Supplier account settlements, by choice on individual items of the ledger, or all items which have been marked for payment. An automatic cheque writing system is a standard offering with the system.

The Nominal ledger has a report generator, which facilitates the designing of reports such as Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets and the consolidation of these reports for several Branches.

The accounting information may be downloaded into a Head office computer system, if required or into a Microsoft Spreadsheet package for the creation of charts.

Sales analysis by supplier, product, credit and cash sales can be printed in seconds. All the information needed to collate these reports is already in TALISMAN as these statistics are generated from the day to day use of the system by your staff. Just ask TALISMAN to print what you need.

A sales comparison of one period against another is a tried and tested way to analyze the performance of your business. TALISMAN will print a comparison of any two periods that you wish.

Check your staff's performance with sales figures. Ideal if you run incentive schemes, or wish to see which departments or areas of your business bring you the most business. This sales analysis not only shows turnover, but margin and V.A.T. too.

Using the integrated word processor, you have a sophisticated marketing tool to mail-merge your selected list with a standard letter, and print labels or use the integrated Microsoft products to do the same.

The mailing and marketing facilities are very powerful - for example you can design a mail-merge to select all clients who booked with you, where their original enquiry was the result of an advert in the Sunday Times, who traveled during the month of March, and spent over £700.
