Reservations

	Any staff member who is an authorized user can log an enquiry into Talisman.
	Talisman will allow a reservation if the required rooms are available or will pend it for review
	All pending items are batched and presented in a format which makes it easy to find the services requested by the clients
	Group costing and bookings are confirmed by telex, fax or Email in batch mode.
	Pending items are highlighted as reminders.
	Your agents can use the Talisman EDI Windows System to send their bookings directly to your Talisman computer. Talisman of course will receive these bookings and process them without any manual intervention from your staff.

Electronic Data Exchange (EDI)

The system will allow you to send out a Windows-based application disk to your agents abroad to:
	Make on-line Reservations for accommodation
	Place requests and orders to your company electronically via your own computer system.

For Hotel Reservations, your overseas agents will be able to make bookings or requests from your hotel allocations and receive an immediate response from your computer system on availability or alternatives available - this response will comprise of:
	Bookings Confirmation with prices
	Any alternatives if no availability
	Items put on Pending status

The response will happen within seconds and will save your agents and yourselves a great deal of time and cost due to the fact that these actions take place without any human intervention.
The most important aspect of this is the fact that your agents will be able to confirm their bookings through your company within seconds, without any telephoning or faxing.
At your end, all action taken by the computer on your behalf will be recorded and any Pending items due to lack of availability will be brought to your attention immediately so that one of your consultants can give immediate attention to the request. Again, a great deal of time will be saved by your staff.
You will also have the opportunity of offering your overseas agents special rates and separate allocations if they reach a certain quota of bookings per month.
For Group Bookings and Special Requests, your agent can communicate with your Talisman System direct, with the minimum of delay.
Your overall efficiency in dealing with your agents will be increased tremendously!
